Towns with a Coastal Climate

San Luis Obispo has the Mission, the San Luis Obispo County Historical Museum, art galleries, and an active and thriving down town.

The City of Arroyo Grande has to the east of Highway 101 its Old Town Village. It makes a good stop just to rest and wander Grand Avenue and the park.

Taking turn toward the Ocean will take you through Grover Beach to the beach. This beach is much quieter. It has a golf course and lots of room to just walk and gaze out on the Pacific. Mornings are the best time to visit the beach here.
